Neuropsychological Therapies
We believe that rehabilitation is most effective when it is centred on the person's goals, values, and everyday life. Our aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help people rebuild confidence, increase independence, and work towards the outcomes that matter most to them.
Our rehabilitation is guided by formulation. By understanding the interaction between cognitive, emotional, behavioural, social, and environmental factors,
we develop interventions that are personalised, evidence-based, and focused on improving participation and quality of life.
We provide evidence based neuropsychological rehabilitation tailored to the individual's strengths, needs, and aspirations. Intervention may involve direct therapeutic work with the individual, support and guidance for family members, consultation with carers, or training and clinical leadership for wider care teams.
By working across the whole support network, we help ensure that strategies are understood, applied consistently, and embedded into everyday life.
Collaborative goal setting is central to our approach. We work closely with individuals, families, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop meaningful rehabilitation goals and regularly review progress together. We believe that shared understanding, clear communication, and coordinated working create the best opportunity for successful rehabilitation.
Where individuals present with behaviours that challenge, we undertake comprehensive functional assessments to understand the factors contributing to these behaviours. We develop practical, person-centred recommendations and provide ongoing support to families and care teams to promote consistent, compassionate, and effective approaches.
We believe that shared understanding, clear communication, and coordinated goal setting lead to better outcomes and a more coherent rehabilitation experience for everyone involved.
